About

I’m currently the coordinator of ESL Writing at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

I received my PhD in English with concentrations in applied linguistics and TESL from Oklahoma State University in 2011. My main research interests include Cognitive Linguistics, Construction Grammar, corpus linguistics, and second language writing. Most recently, I have been studying fictive apologies as well as the use of simulations and language corpora in teaching English for Academic Purposes.

If you want to find out about my research, teaching, and interests, feel free to browse the pages of this website.
